Tours in and around Sucre

1 day

City Tour on foot, private tour of 3 hours

The colonial white city has so many beautiful buildings and houses with antique wooden balconies that we will only take a closer look at the most important ones. We will walk through the old heart of town so we will pass many of them anyway.

The main square of Sucre is surrounded by impressive buildings, such as the Town Hall, La Casa de la Libertad where in 1825 the independency of Bolivia was declared, the Prefecture of the Department Chuquisaca and the Metropolitan Cathedral with Renaissance- and Barok details.
Than we continue walking to the ASUR museum of textiles. Here you can appreciate a variety of weavings of various Bolivian cultures.  There will be some skilled people busy weaving, too, demonstrating various weaving techniques.
From the museum it is only a short distance to one of the special places of Sucre, the Recoleta, from where you will enjoy  beautiful views over the city.
