Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna

The tour starts between 8.00-8.30 hrs. when your guide picks you up from your hotel in Copacabana to cross Lake Titicaca to the south side of Isla del Sol by private boat.

First you will visit the ruins of the Pilkokaina Palace.
Then you will walk for about 45 minutes in the direction of Yumani. During the walk you will enjoy the fascinating views of the Cordillera Real (Andean mountain range) and Lake Titicaca.
In Yumani you will visit the Fountain of Eternal Youth and the Inca Stairs.

Your guide will find a nice place to pause where you can eat your pack lunch.

At the end of the walk you will go on board again and some 45 minutes to an hour later you will arrive at Isla de la Luna.

On this island you will visit the Inca ruins of El Palacio de las Virgenes (virgins) del Sol or Inaj Uyo. The guide will explain a theory about the construction.
After this visit you will return to Copacabana, where the tour ends around 18.00 hrs.
