Jeep Tour, half day or full day, private tour

During the full day tour you will visit sights located north of Tupiza in the morning and places in the south of the city in the afternoon.
If you choose for a half day tour, you can decide whether you want to visit the sights to the north or south of Tupiza.
Below we give the description for the full day tour.

At 9.00 hrs. you will leave for the northern part of Tupiza.
You will first visit the Quebrada de Palala, where vertical rocks rise like huge cathedrals. The route continues to El Sillar at 3,800 m, an enchanting place shaped by erosion.
Then you will go to the Quebrada Seca, where you can enjoy multicoloured rock formations with unusual shapes such as the Cañon del Duende. You continue your way to Toroyoj, a recreational area at the foot of which the water of the San Juan del Oro River flows.
Then it's time for a break while a box-lunch is served.

After lunch you will cross the Quebrada de Palmira, where you will see the Puerta del Diablo and the Valle de los Machos, with its typical phallic rock formations. At the end of the quebrada you see the Cañon del Inca.
Afterwards, you go via the Toroyoj bridge to the banks of the San Juan del Oro river. Then you reach El Angosto, the place where the train tunnel and the vehicle tunnel meet.
You will then visit Entre Ríos, where the Tupiza river and the San Juan del Oro river cross each other. You can make a short walk to La Torre, a 50 m high monolith.
After that you return to Tupiza.
