City Tour Potosí Exclusive

Your guide will come to pick you up from your hotel at 9.00 hrs. for this special tour.

You will visit Potosí's most important places close to the main square such as the cathedral and some colonial mansions.

Then you will visit the probably most beautiful museum of Bolivia, la Casa de la Moneda (the Mint).

The tour will be continued with a visit to the San Francisco Church and from there you will go on foot to the San Lorenzo church. On the way there you will enjoy the architecture of the buildings that you pass on both sides of the narrow streets.

After seeing the San Lorenzo Church, you head to the central market where you can try a bowl of Kalaphurka soup, a local specialty, with vegetables and meat. A heated volcanic stone that is added to the soup makes that the soup keeps boiling after been served. 

The tour finishes after a visit to the Santa Teresa Convent and Museum. The beautiful building with two courtyards is still in use as convent.
